Hello everyone!. Ever since I have started solving complex rational expressions at school I never seem to be able to cope with it well. I am a topper at all the other branches, but this particular area seems to be my weakness. Can some one aid me in understanding it properly?

Can you please be more detailed as to what sort of guidance you are expecting to get. Do you want to understand the fundamentals and solve your math questions by yourself or do you need a software that would offer you a step-by-step solution for your math problems?

I would just add a note to what has been said above. Algebrator no doubt is the best tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to cheat.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Basic Math, Algebra 1 and Intermediate algebra. It is a truly a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with side-side-side similarity, point-slope and trigonometry. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.

That sounds good! Thanks for the help! It seems to be just what I need, I will try it for sure! Where did you come across Algebrator? Any idea where could I find more information about it? Thanks!

You can download this software from http://www.algbera.com/review-of-algebra.html. There are some demos available to see if it is what want and if you find it good, you can get a licensed version for a nominal amount.
