I am reasonably good in math otherwise but problems in angle suplements baffle me and I am at a loss. It would be great if you can let me know of a reasonably priced software that I can use?

It’s just a matter of time before you’ll have no trouble in answering those problems in solving quadratic equation using matlab. I have the exact solution for your algebra problems, it’s called Algebrator. It’s quite new but I guarantee you that it would be perfect in assisting you in your math problems. It’s a piece of program where you can answer any kind of math problems easily. It’s also user friendly and displays a lot of useful data that makes you understand the subject matter fully.

Noddzj99 Registered: 03.08.2001 From: the 11th dimension	Posted: Sunday 31st of Dec 11:53     That's true, a good software can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best. It doesn't matter what class you are in, I myself used it in Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra as well, so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never had a software until now I can tell you it's not hard, you don't have to know much about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

Jot Registered: 07.09.2001 From: Ubik	Posted: Wednesday 03rd of Jan 09:07     ratios, gcf and distance of points were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is really the best algebra program that I have ever come across. I have used it through several math classes – Remedial Algebra, College Algebra and Algebra 2. Just typing in the math problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my algebra homework would be ready. I truly recommend the program.

There are some demos available to see if it is really what you are looking for and if you are interested, you can get a licensed version for a nominal amount.
