Hi math wizards! I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to grasp the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with connecting polynomials to real life. Could somebody out there please explain to me with linear algebra, powers and graphing parabolas. I can’t afford to look for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of improving topics like slope or adding fractions without fuss, please help me out Thank you for your time

How about some more particulars about your problem with connecting polynomials to real life? I might be able to give some information on. If you are not able to get a good guidance or some one to sit and sort out your difficulty or if it is not affordable, then there might be another solution to your problem. There are some good algebra programs that you can check out. I checked them out myself. It came across to me as superb as any tutor can be. I would choose Algebrator for the kind of answer that you are in search of. What is attractive about it is that it hand holds you to the solutions rather than plainly providing the answer. Why not give it a try?

Algebrator really helps you out in connecting polynomials to real life. I have tried all Math software on the net. It is very logical. You just enter your problem and it will create a complete step-by-step report of the solution. This helped me much with slope, converting fractions and factoring. It helps you understand algebra better. I was distressedof paying huge sum to Maths Tutors who could not give me the required time and attention. It is a inexpensive tool which could transform your entire attitude towards math. Using Algebrator would be fun. Take it.

A truly piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving syntehtic division, matrices and monomials. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 2. I highly recommend the program.
