Jan Leed Registered: 10.02.2003 From: Manchester, United Kingdom	Posted: Friday 29th of Dec 12:12     I think God would have been in a really bad mood decided to come up with something called algebra to trouble us! I’ve spent days working on this math problem which relates to program to calculate x=10^y when x is known and I still can’t solve it. I’m particularly having problems with adding functions, fractional exponents and subtracting fractions. Can anyone throw some light on how to go about finding a solution to such problems? I’ve tried various means that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent guidance now. Anybody?

ameich Registered: 21.03.2005 From: Prague, Czech Republic	Posted: Saturday 30th of Dec 09:18     You don’t need to ask anyone to solve any sample questions for you; as a matter of fact all you need is Algebrator. I’ve tried many such math simulation software but Algebrator is way better than most of them. It’ll solve any question that you have and it’ll even explain each and every step involved in reaching that solution. You can work out as many examples as you would like to, and unlike us human beings, it won’t ever say, Oh! I’ve had enough for the day! ;) Even I had some problems in solving questions on radical inequalities and simplifying fractions, but this software really helped me get over those.

DVH Registered: 20.12.2001 From:	Posted: Saturday 30th of Dec 15:43     I didn’t use that Algebrator program yet but I heard from my friends that it really does help in answering math problems. Since then, I noticed that my peers don’t really have a hard time answering some of the problems in class. It might really have been efficient in improving their solving abilities in math. I can’t wait to use it someday because I believe it can be very useful and help me have a good grade in algebra.

There are some demos available to see if it is really what you are looking for and if you find it good, you can get a licensed version for a nominal amount.
