I just discovered that I am running out of time in dealing with some issues with how to find slope on a ti-83 calculator. I had kept it waiting hoping that I will come across excellent learning material or someone who can assist me with like denominators, distance of points and perpendicular lines. May be, I did not search hard enough. But at the moment I am running late. It is simply difficult to find a fine teacher to quickly educate me. It is beyond what I can afford. And I need to find a immediate way out. Can anyone who has had the same problem enlighten me as to what I can do? It will be a huge help.

You might want to take a look at Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Pre Algebra course and I can say that it was really a wise decision. There are so many demos present which you can go through. You can also try out the questions related to function definition and exponent rules by just typing them in. Algebrator provides comprehensive description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts understandable. I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

I know a couple of teachers who use Algebrator themselves to teach students.

I have tried a number of math programs. I would not name them here, but they were of no use. I hope this one is not like the one’s I’ve used in the past.

You can download it from (softwareLinks) by paying a nominal fee. Good luck with your homework and let me know if your problems got solved.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with conversion of units, function definition and graphing parabolas. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
